Rails Template Optimizer is here!

In case you missed the announcement, Stefan Kaes, rails performance master, has released the Rails Template Optimizer (beta). Measuring just one of my standard pages I got a 200% improvement just by installing the optimizer. Now everyone go out and grab it and help test it, because there are still some bugs to be ironed out. The idea behind the template optimizer is the preprocessing of things such as link_to statements and other view helper methods into their html form and caching them that way.
