My first impressions of the conference are great. Not having multiple tracks is a wonderful idea as everyone is able to pay attention to one speaker and get the most of the experience. One of the sidenotes is that you get a t-shirt with the attendance pass, and it’s American Apparel! Why doesn’t anyone else get how important it is to have great quality t-shirts? This is one I will be wearing a lot.

I gave a demo on our Elastic Server products and it went really well. Looks like a lot of people are starting to understand the power of virtualization, especially after the talk Ezra gave about Engine Yard. I look forward to tomorrow!
